A new website developed for Highland Safaris in Scotland increased online enquiries and bookings by 300%
Operating within 250,000 acres of Highland Perthshire Estate, Highland Safaris offer a unique range of Safari tour products combining breathtaking scenery, Scottish heritage and inspirational adventure. Following a company rebrand and the development of corporate products Dot Tourism was asked to devise an online strategy for them, including the design and develop a new web site.
In order to reach the new corporate market whilst still being able to successfully reach and retain leisure visitors we recommended the creation of two separate sites.
Working with the client we designed the websites to fit with their new branding incorporating strong imagery from around the Scottish Highlands. We wanted to include the opportunity to build a database of interested visitors and placed a newsletter sign up box on every page.
It was important to enable visitors to enquire and book tours online. The site navigation was designed to create a path for the visitor from the homepage to the booking form.
As a result enquiries and bookings via the web site have increased by 300%. The redesigned site has much improved engagement and we have managed to reduce the visitor bounce rate from 65% to less than 30%.
We continue to work with Highlands Safaris providing ongoing online marketing services to drive traffic to their corporate and leisure websites.
